Nothing like the knowlededge that you're going to be parents in the next 6 months to make you realize a. how unprepared you are and b. how much stuff needs to get done prior to the bundle of joy making an appearance!

When we renovated the house, there was an ancient, florescent pink clawfoot bathtub in the upstairs bathroom. I had the great idea that it would be nice to eventually have the bathtub restored and put back in the bathroom so there was be something from the original house here. Well, that was before I became pregnant, when we had all the time in the world to worry about who was going to restore said bathtub and how much it was going to cost. Now that I'm pregnant, I obviously am not going to be doing much restoration to said bathtub and time is of essence. Needless to say, florescent pink clawfoot bathtub is probably going to become a garden ornament instead. Hence the perusing Home Depot and Lowe's for not only tile but for bathtubs that will now fit into the bathroom that was originally setup for a clawfoot to be looking out a window. Needless to say, my husband, who is 6+hrs south of home for work for pretty much indefinately, is majorly stressed about the bathroom, the landscaping, the barn and cattle, never mind his pregnant wife and unborn child. Which in turn, stresses me out. So...here we are...I get to make the decision about the bathroom, hopefully about the landscaping and will not make any decision at all what-so-ever regarding the barn and cattle.

Back to the bathroom...the pedastal sink and toilet are white which in turn means the bathtub will be as well...the walls are white and I intend to have some stenciling done...the question is...what color tile? What neutral is the best neutral?

And nurseries...I have a crib from my sister in law which I intend on using but can't stand the changing table so need to get one of those...does it matter if they don't match?

Oh the trials...

Back to perusing the websites for tile...

Oh, and trying like hell to get my antivirus to update. Argh!
